Reece's birthday at IHOP

The girls were invited to their friend, Reece's 7th birthday!  This morning, we headed over to IHOP for breakfast and then to the park.  

Reece's mommy and I are great friends.  Her husband works with daddy too.  Here are our girls patiently waiting for their yummy breakfast!

No more pics at IHOP, but we got some cute ones at the park.  I made my girls change clothes....lol....

Juliana's B-Day Party!

Before the month ends, I wanted to post about this super fun party the girls went to last month.  Their little friend, Juliana attends the same preschool with the girls.  They are also in the same class.  Juliana LOVES horses so, her parents decided to have real ponies at her party!....WOW!!...What an awesome party...don't you think?!

Wine & Cookie Exchange Party!

I went to a super fun holiday party this past Friday!  I feel so blessed to have wonderful friends!  I love hanging out, drinking wine, chatting, and enjoying good company!  I have to admit... I just went for the wine....LOL and my friends of course!  I didn't make any cookies...haha!  I've had such crazy couple of weeks, and didn't have time to make any :(


I didn't get a chance to take pics of everyone there because it seemed like they left so early, but here are some pics of just a few of us! :)

We plan to do a wine night once per month and I am so excited!  Our husbands will play poker at the same time while the ladies hang out!....Wooohoo!  Until next month girls! :)

Double Date

Awwwwwwww it has been a while since we've been on a date AND... it has been even longer since we've gone on a double date....ha!!

Last night we were invited over for dinner at a friend's house.  We had a yummy chicken pesto penne pasta that Greg cooked.  His date, Lisa, is my zumba instructor....YES...we set them up :)  Greg and my husband are good friends. 

I was so excited to have a night out since my husband has been out of town training.  It was needed very much!

It was a very spontaneous decision when we decided to head over to a local bar/dance club.  I love this place!  Greg and Lisa have never been there so, it was fun for them as well!

Fun Weekend

WOW!! I've been MIA..... so crazy busy with my etsy store, but no complaints! 

We spent last weekend with wonderful friends.  One of my husband's co-workers, Fernando, had a birthday celebration for his mom.  He hired a "Mariachi" band to surprise her.  If you are Mexican, you know this is a BIG deal!  I was so excited when we got the invitation to attend this party!  It's my kind of party....well.... it just feels like home to me when I'm around people with the same culture.  Not to mention we have been friends with them for over 8 years.  They are like family to us.  Mexican people are the most wonderful hosts...ha! The food was delicious by the way :)

Rose's 50th Surprise Party!

Last Saturday I attended my friend Rose's surprise b-day party! Let me tell you a little about my friend Rose. She is a TRUE inspiration. Rose and I met back in 2003 when I worked for the Walgreens Mail Order Pharmacy. We have remained friends since I quit that job back in 2005. Rose has been paralized since she was 21 years old. Her parents are deceased. She has one sister who lives close to her. Rose has a beautiful daughter who is now 13 years old. Why do I share all of this?....because I truly admire this woman. Not ONCE in the last 6 years of knowing her have I heard a complaint from her.....isn't that amazing?! Now, I need to be more like that!

She is so sweet, positive, a hard worker, a good mommy, a great friend, etc. Her spirit is gentle and humble. I love her! It was so wonderful to see at least 50 people at this party that truly care and love Rose. I know this meant so much to her.

Dinner with the Kekonas

We had the pleasure to meet for dinner with the Kekonas today. They are from Portland, Oregon. Steve has known Adam for at least 15 years. His wife Jennifer has a brother that lives in Mesa. They were here visiting him. Adam called Steve yesterday, and they set up a dinner date. We went to Floridinos in Chandler. If you are local, you must go eat there....it's delicious and affordable! Our girls did not cooperate for a good photo, not to mention they wanted nothing to do with mommy..ha! Daddy had to hold them both...I must admit I kinda like that sometimes :) This is the best we could do with photos. Thank you Adam and Jennifer! It was so nice to see you both! :) Have a safe trip home. Come back and visit again soon!

Super Bowl Sunday

Super Bowl Sunday was fun even though our Cards lost. We had some friends over. We ate carne asada and shrimp ceviche....yummy! Our girls hang out by the food table a lot! They enjoyed eating cheetos as you can see on some of the photos :)
