San Diego Trip- Day 1

I have over 350 pics to share so I thought I'd split this post into 3 -4 different days! This is all about day 1. We decided to take a mini-vacation with the Espy's to San Diego last weekend. We got there Friday around lunch time. We went to Island Burger to grab a bite to eat...it was yummy! Here are our girls at the restaurant....
After lunch we went to check-in so we could all take a nap! Yeah right.....that didn't go well.... our girls did NOT want to nap! They were wired! Ok.... so we get ready and decide to go to Coronado Beach just to go see the ocean....no plans to get in the water or nothing...we were just going to walk around and let the girls play on the beach before going to get some dinner.....to our surprise Ashley was terrified of the ocean! She was glued to either Steve or myself. She did not want to get close to the water at all! On the other hand....Hannah LOVED it! Go figure! She was having a blast! Daddy was suppose to be watching her, but not sure what happened and next thing we know she was drenched!....hahahaha! Oh well....what was mommy thinking making her wear white shorts to the beach right???...It was truly the highlight of the evening....Hannah didn't care...she enjoyed every minute of it....here are some photos to prove it :)

Here we are on our way to the car from the beach....there was a big green area where the girls played and we got to change Hannah into something else :) We also ended up at Hometown Buffet that night since we could not find a good pizza place! The girls really enjoyed all the different things they got to eat! They also liked their silly Hometown hats! Enjoy the photos :)
